I searched through the archives and looked on the web but couldn't find an answer to this. I have a Toshiba Tecra 8200 (Trident chipset in use) which I had RedHat 7.2 on and was using XFree86 4.1.0. I was getting a black border on the right hand side of the screen (about an inch) and a thinner black border along the bottom. I tried using the "cyberstretch" option but to no avail. So I decided to upgrade to Redhat 7.3 primarily because it has XFree86 4.2.0 included. And I get the same thing, although some flickering has been fixed. I have tried changing various options but the borders still remain. Does anybody have any pointers or anything I can try?? Many thanks! Sam Rudland
