Hi:

I'm running XFree 4.2 under Linux Redhat 7.1. Everything works great
except for an odd problem with certain Windows apps running in a VMWare
virtual machine.

I'm running Windows NT4 in the VM and when I bring up Word or Adobe
Acrobat, I get a black on black screen within the app document (the app
frame and menus are fine). In Word, I can make the text visible by
changing the background format from "no fill" to a while fill, but this
only lasts for a while for some odd reason.

I did not have this problem with XFree 4.1

Are there any settings I can tweak to make this run as well under 4.2 as
it did under 4.1? Or is there a relevent patch?

Thanks
