I have a problem I think is X-related, and I wonder if anybody knows of =
a solution.

=20

I recently got a Logitech Wingman Gamepad, which when connected does =
something to X.

Anytime I start X with the pad connected to the computer X starts and =
then locks up, not accepting any input from mouse or keyboard.

The Linux system below still works, but I can't access it, since X won't =
even respond to ctrl-alt-backspace.

When I start X with the pad disconnected everything works fine.

=20

The system

kernel 2.4.18 with low latency & preemptive patches. (I have not yet =
built in drivers for the pad)

Xfree86 4.2.0 with enlightenment.

GeForce 2 MX 400 with nvidia's drivers

Wingman pad connected to Soundblaster Live 5.1 value Gameport with ALSA =
drivers.

=20

I would greatly appreciate any help/suggestions.

Thanks.
