[Newbie]kernel module version incorrect

hello

did you try to get the latest DRI drivers from 
http://dri.sourceforge.net/
they are newer than your modules comming with your kernel
it helped me wih my card.
Compile them by following :
http://dri.sourceforge.net/doc/DRIcompile.html
(found this link in a magazine, didn't try it)
