    Members,

I have just configured my sound card (SIS 7012),
in Mandrake 8.2 with KDE 3 running. i went
through the all of the rigamaroo of finding which
files were dependent on others. i insmod from the
one that had no deps, up to the one for my audio
driver (sound csrd).

now my question is how do i get it to load upon
boot without having to go into a term and run
modprobe?

i went into vi editor and tried to add it to my
/etc/modules, (says that if you want something to
load upon boot you should add it there) with no
use. i still have to go into a term and run
modprobe.

if anyone can give me some advice please contact
me at "emetib@operamail.com", i've just started to
play with linux about two months ago (actualloy
just started to play with computers at that time)

thank you
chad
