Aside from using something like an instance of XAMPP, have found things like ExeOutput for PHP - issue there is interface is rather inaccessible/unusable - and another one called something like BamCompil - not sure what all requirements/usage procedures for it are as of yet - and was just wondering if any of you guys have ideas/suggestions with regards to this type of thing? Effectively, it would be nice to be able to stick to using HTML markup to handle UI generation etc., and then PHP code to handle interaction/data manipulation - even if then sticking to something like SQLLite, XML/CSV/flat text files to handle data storage, but, to preferably have something that can run as a form of stand-alone executable, etc.? And, would want to be able to redistribute the executable/install package simply/easily enough, so wouldn't want to have to get all users to have to install their own XAMPP/XAMP package either, and would want this to work/run on windows platforms ranging from XP to windows7/windows8 - last one just possibly.
