Hi Dear, First of all let me warn u that sessions in PHP need to be handled very carefully. It is very sensitive. Now to your problem....If there is an error with session.save_path u need to configure the php.ini file. If u are using a remote server to run ur php files then the path of session.save_path cannot be like D:\PHP\temp. U have to mention the absolute path of your server......To verify this make a php file with script <?php echo phpinfo();?> and run that. See the path of session.save_path. ...SuDeEp.... carlos castillo <ccastillo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Hi, i have the followin problem, i have a site that use sessions, sometimes when i want to write on the session i get the followin error: Warning: Unknown(): The session id contains invalid characters, valid characters are only a-z, A-Z and 0-9 in Unknown on line 0 Warning: Unknown(): Failed to write session data (files).
