You should switch to native Linux apps to do those functions... it would be much better. Wine is just for those 1 or 2 programs which you have no choice but to use because nothing on Linux can do what you need. Part of switching to Linux is switching to native programs. Wine cannot run everything. If you only want to use your Windows software, you should be using Windows. Other than that, Wine can be complicated to get started with, and I suggest that you start learning about it at the FAQ (http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ)
