Are you using the debian package of pylotro or the exe? The debian package lets you specify how wine is called and which debug channels to use, and routes the wine output to it's own window. If your using the exe and run from the terminal, it's still in the same wine prefix so when you call pylotro (winedebug=+all wine pylotro.exe)
