Ok, i'm terrible with computers, so i would like an explanation in simple terms. So I'm trying to play a game using Wine, I've installed the game, but when i click play, a box pops up that says "No CD-ROM drive found" I would like to know how to fix this problem.

Read that 4.1.4 paragraph. Basically, you probably need to have your drive mapped in winecfg (it's in the link I sent you, but you can do it graphically in winecfg). If it is already, then the issue is different and you should come back with some terminal output.

Ok, i think i have my CD-ROM drive mapped out, i got something like this,//home/thanatos777/.wine/dosdevices/d:/cdrom':. The Type is set as "local hard disk". Now what?

You need to set it to Type "CDROM", not "local hard disk".
