Thanks very much for your reply, dimesio. As I am running natty, I currently have the 2.14 driver. However, I just found a solution, a fix for the 2.14 driver released by Sameer Morar: https://launchpad.net/~smorar/+archive/bugfixes. I had found it in this thread: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28798 It works beautifully for me. As I can see so far, all problems are gone. Cheers!
