If you ran wine as root, immediately remove your entire ~/.wine directory, as it will now have all kinds of crazy permission issues. It is advised that you NEVER run Wine as root. Also see http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#head-96bebfa287b4288974de0df23351f278b0d41014
