Maybe Xephyr doesn't use any hardware acceleration at all. Is there any reason you're not just trying it through your regular X session? I was using it since I thought it would help with the 16-bit graphics problem, but it didn't seem to help. All I seem to get from any sort of searching is that it's an Intel GMA HD card, but I can't figure out which one, I'll post back if I can figure out
