There are still people looking at microkernels other than Mach, e.g. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L4_microkernel_family And then there's QNX, a posix-compatible microkernel that's seen wide use. But, back to my earlier question: how many open source components are used in FutureAlpha?
