We're on WINE 1.3.22 now. You should upgrade your WINE. Also, have you checked the AppDB? It has some registry tweaks to assist in getting the first Witcher to run better. Witcher 1.5 is rated at gold. Can you confirm that you successfully updated Witcher to 1.5? In other words, did the patch get applied correctly?
