If you haven't seen it yet, there's a nice reference at http://ss64.com/nt/ please do check in test scripts to your project and run them on every build, and extend it to cover all the features you implement. Perhaps someday your enlarged test suite could be contributed back to wine and used to improve wine's cmd.
