Can you run the process in a terminal session and capture a logging file: http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log has instructions. Post the logging file to a pastebin.com like site (Ubuntu has a pastebin, but file size is limited) and then post the URL for the file (please include all of the letters/numbers) here? Also, please do look at the Applications Database for issues with Steam releases and programs hosted by Steam. There are some hinks/tricks to getting them to run. External how-to information may be incorrect and/or outdated. James McKenzie
