If you want to install the Windows version of Chrome in Wine, either set your native browser to spoof IE and download the Windows version, or install Firefox in Wine and use that to install the Windows version of Chrome. Now, as to the "task" you've been given, while IE7 can be installed in Wine using winetricks, it's very buggy, and using it is not supported due to the many overrides needed to get it to install and run.
