I figured out why my resolution is so big. It's set to twin view, but I can't change it to separate x view. I've tried saving and changing one to primary and restarting a million times. I also updated my driver to a newer one then Ubuntu offers and still low FPS. I think the low frame rate is because of my settings to be honest. I just don't know what is the best way to get around this.
