Thanks for the suggestion, and I'm curious about trying the packages from the link, but now the detail is those packages are for Debian Sid. I'm trying a Linux distro called Elive (have you heard about it or tried it?) which is based on Debian Lenny, so probably the packages won't be compatible. Can they be?
