I assumed you had physical access to the server, do you have some kind of sysadmin nearby? If you file a bug report, you will probably be asked for the console output, when running wine, therefore I proposed to try that locally on the server. Sorry, I understand, that all this is probably not very helpful for you. Your best bet may be to to file a bug report.
