Really this is a problem. Extracting hard-drive serial number is not normally allowed from userspace. Next problem if wine was providing that information it could be fake. If a virtual machine like qemu was providing that information it also could be fake. Basically what you are asking for would allow piracy of a lot of applications. Its your choice to have that application sorry it meaning windows. Finally bound to a harddrive in it self is setting up for hardware failure issues.
