I think I may have gotten around it. Here's what I did:
1. downloaded dcom38 and installed it using the method

Code:
wine "DCOM98.EXE" /C'


and giving the path-name 'c:/windows/system32'

2. ran the installation program with

Code:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="ole32=n,b;oleaut32=n,b;rpcrt4=n,b" wine "D:/setup.exe"



That got me past the sticking point. Now I need to clean out some more files so I have enough room to install it.  [Wink]
