Few basic linux things to check first. If they are java games check what java linux is using. either openjdk or sun java is good. There are 3 other options that are not that great. Flash games make sure you have adobe flash. You could be running gnash or something else that is not as complete. Basically there is a good chance that the issue is solveable without turning to wine.
