I'm seeing no sound sometimes on the dragon logo movie, too, haven't figured it out yet. Seems to depend on the machine. And I saw one system that always crashed after the logo movie; looking at the log with +relay,+seh I saw it was crashing not long after looking in ~/Bioware/Dragon Age 2 Demo/Characters/*.* and not finding anything. Deleting the Bioware directory somehow fixed that.
