This makes it appear as such. Another explanation is that the executable bit is not set for this file (and this will cause other problems as well.) If you did, you should change permissions for all files to the current owner. You could use the chown command but it is easier/simpler to delete/move the current wine directory and re-install the program as the current user. Wine is not designed to or should be run as root (there are exceptions such as programs that need to run ICMP (ping) with restrictions.) James McKenzie
