Thanks, I used this trick to backup my entire WINE installation. Although going to square one is always an option, I avoid it like the plague. That's why I quit my windows habit. Vista locked itself out of its directories and I got the black screen of death. So instead of reinstalling all of Vista and starting from scratch, I switched to Linux.
