Thanks for the input. I thought of this too last night and did the upgrade and TablEdit runs fine. However, I had to delete my ~/.wine directory as wincfg wouldn't run nor would wine start. One of the posts in here re: upgrading and winecfg errors suggested "keeping what you want from the old .wine directory and let winecfg create a new one". That's what I did but what can I actually copy from my old directory and not bung up the new one? Just the program directory? what else? Many thanks
