Wine should NEVER do this. Where did you get your version of Wine from as it appears it has been hacked OR you ran Wine as root ONE TIME. No program running under Wine should ever ask for root's password either. Time for a clean up of Wine and DO NOT USE WAREZ EITHER. James McKenzie
