This is because it recognizes Wine as a legitimate.
The ones who do not work for example is:
- Tagés (Is with Beyond  Good and evil for example)
- Uniloc (Alphaprotocol for example)

The one i dont know at the moment is:
- SafeDisc
- Starforce
- LaserLock

These read several Windows files and then determine if you are indeed running an unhacked version of Windows. Wine will NEVER match these values, nor should it. Vitamin stated that you should use friendlier programs that do not use this broken functionality....
