I have a program that needs .net 1.1, so I tried to install it. It aborted, so then I tried .net 2.0. Now it wants msi3.0 and it is not in winetricks, so I downloaded the distributable from Microsoft, and tried to install it. The install went OK, but it wanted to restart windows, so I said OK, and nothing seemed to have happened, but I still could not install .net 2.0. So I booted my system, and still can't install .net 20. Please advise?
