I've done exactly as you suggested here, but without using opengl I am unable to fully boot WoW; wine opens it into a window but that window never draws and the though I get the WoW cursor I can't interact with the buttons that ought to be there (ie. login). I'm a mac user whose switched to Ubuntu, still quite a nub. Advice?
