Sorry mpelosi but are you nuts. Visual Basic 6 was released in 1998 with MS 10 years of support is was officially dead for usage in 2008. So anything built in that now is a secuirty risk. There is no way I would allow your program on a system with 1000+ cores with it code in Visual Basic 6. Linux does have safe guards against doing a few things. You might be hitting one but at this stage no point talking about them until idea is sane.
