So, I just checked on a Vista system, and it turns out Microsoft no longer stores msvcr100.dll in winsxs (thank goodness). Now it lives in plain old c:/windows/System32/msvcr100.dll (or, on 64 bit systems, the 64 bit version lives in c:/windows/System32/msvcr100.dll and the 32 bit version lives in c:/windows/SysWOW64/msvcr100.dll ) So I would suggest doing one more clean install of everything, i.e. rm -rf ~/.wine install your game winetricks vcrun2010 and hope that this time It Just Works. If not, please attach a +module log.
