Hi all,

while not totally new to Linux ... I haven't used it much over the last years (at all), and thus are having a bit of trouble. I'm trying to finally do the jump from Windows to Linux (Ubuntu to make it easy), but this requires to get my games to run. As it is, one of the first games I tried to get running is Civ 5. But well, it doesn't work.

What I did till now is installing vcrun2008 with winetricks (as I found mentioning of it as installing the vc90.crt. Plus I copied msvcp90.dll into the System32 of wine. The result is the following terminal error message. Any help?
Can you try this again, but remove the msvcp90.dll file. It is now included with Wine. If that does not work, copy the file into the program's directory (where it is run from) and then use winecfg to set the file use order to native, builtin.

Thank you.
