If your livelyhood depends on Windows-only software, then I would not
recommend moving to Linux. I perform WIndows to Linux migrations
weekly and the first step is to replace all possible software ON
WINDOWS with equivelent software that is available for Linux as well
(FOSS or proprietary, I don't care). If you find that you depend on
software that will not run on Linux, then don't move to Linux. I
personally would stop right there.

You can use Linux at home, in fact I highly recommend it. But for work
that depends on Access. No way.
