OK, sorry, you're right. I don't know which libraries my apps requires, in this case DBabble in particular. But I know the libraries I need are among the list Winetricks provides, because the other configurer installed some of them.

Re-formulating the question, what I want to know is which libraries/packages from the list I need to install in order to have a good Wine config that provides a standard Windows emulation which makes my apps and many others to work. If you ask which Windows I seek to emulate, well, I'm afraid all available in general -I have several apps...- For example DBabble used to install and run on Win98 with no problems and no need to install other packages.

>From the FAQ, I think some of those libraries would be mfc40, the vcrun packages -Visual C++-, and mdac27 (probably also mdac25 and mdac28??).
