I think I can tell you where the URL I posted came from. As you can see below, it has a p= reference, which links to a specific post:

http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?p=50018#50018

When you deleted the post, the notification became invalid.

Search results on the forum also link to the most recent post. When I did my search, it seems the spam post had already been deleted but the search index had not yet been updated, so the search result was invalid.

Bug? When an objectionable post is deleted, all references to it become invalid. Perhaps it should be replaced by a redirection to the previous post instead of being deleted.
