It may be time to upgrade to the latest version.  I don't like to run 'unsupported' software in case it breaks.

Let's not do that.  I don't like the thought of those folks showing up at my front door.

There were over 7,000 software change commits between Wine 1.0.1 and Wine 1.2.  That's many changes.

A regression test uses a divide by two alogrithm to 'bisect' the number of commits and then you build Wine from the resulting source code and then run your program under the resulting output.  This continues until the software code change that caused the problem is identified.  However, you may not want to or cannot do this (for many reasons.)

I will try to get the demo and see if I can get it to work this week, time permitting.
