The issue isn't mounting the ISO. I am definitely not a beginner Linux user. The issue is with Wine it seems. So, even though I tell wine that /media/cdrom is a cdrom it doesn't seem to register that it is. This is the problem. It has nothing to do with it being mounted or not.
