Your tutorial was fine for wine in general, but now you need to look at game-specific tutorials. League of Legends is a pain in the a** to install at the moment. I've done it, and it works, but you have to patch wine. See the HOWTO and first few comments in http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=19141 for various recipes to follow. Try one.
