OS: Ubuntu 10.04 32bits Core: i5 2,4ghz Video card: Ati Mobility Radeon HD 5470 1GB Hello all, I'm trying to play a direct3d MMORPG game called Ragnarok Online (if you search, you'll see it's not a heavy game), but when I connect, I noticed slow perfomance, as if the game was working just by CPU. So I'm wondering if WINE is using video acceleration for it. I'm using propietary drivers (10.7 for now) and I've got perfectly enabled compiz effects, I've tried run the game with and without compiz, and I've got the same perfomance. What could be the problem? Thanks for your responses and help in advance.
