There is an article in The Register about the Spotify player for Linux: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/07/13/spotify_does_linux/ It gives a download URL if you want to try Spotify for Linux and says why the player is currently restricted to Premium accounts (because it doesn't handle adverts).
