What version of Wine are you using? If you are using Wine Stable
(1.0.1) please upgrade to the latest release candidate and see if the
problem no longer exists.
What Linux distribution and kernel?
What 'bitness' (32/64)?
This looks like a bug that was solved a long time ago in Wine.
