First of all, you didn't make any mistake picking x64. Second, which version of wine are you running? (output of wine --version). 1. if it's wine-1.0.1 or so, upgrade. There are download instructions here: http://winehq.org/download 2. if it's a more recent version of wine (1.2-rcX), use winetricks (http://wiki.winehq.org/winetricks) to reinstall gecko : $ winetricks gecko
