Hello, I'm having a similar issue in try to get Dawn of War's sound to work in Steam. I've also followed the instructions in that thread, but it didn't work. "killall pulseaudio" tells me this: pulseaudio: no process found . Do you do this a root? I haven't tried that yet, and am hesitant to use root for things I'm not sure about although this seems fairly innocuous. Thanks in advance.
