A vast amount of that comes care of Google Groups. Lastly, may I remind you that USENET has no anti-spam tools apart from a killfile facility, which not all newsreaders provide. As it is, we get spam we could do without, often via the forums. In consequence my copy of SA has a fairly impressive set of custom rules that I've developed specially to deep-six spam arriving via the Wine mailing list. Martin
