Might have helped if I had remembered a few things in the post: Wine: 1.1.42 compiled from source OS: Debian GNU/Linux 6.0 "Squeeze" (Lenny with testing) Versions tried: Installed with 1.1.42 Ran with 1.1.32, 1.1.36 and 1.1.42 Tried installing through PoL's script, installing DirectX, their overrides etc. as well as with a fresh prefix. Result was the same in those attempts.
