Winetests are a regular user space application that does a bit more unusual things that most other apps do. I first reported this one to ATI over 2 years ago (12/03/2008), the bug is present in their drivers from Windows 98 too. ATI customer support told me that it's unlikely this would ever be investigated unless it affected a significant amount of customers who all reported the problem.
