Macindows is a product that took Wine and Xquartz, and stuck themtogether in a single app... so it launches its copy of X11 and Wine programs run in it... its modified a lot, and not supported as general Wine. YOu must get support from Macindows. That said.. for pay-for Wine usage, Crossover is about 100X better than Macindows.... and Wineskin (1.0 out in a day or two), and WineBottler are 2 free ways to run Wine in an easier way on Macs. I donwloaded and played with Macindows, and while they have some good ideas, it has a LONG way to go.
